THE LABOUR THAT WAITS

The Labour That Waits, 2024 was work commissioned to respond to the Goldsmiths Textile Archive. The archive was abstracted and reproduced to highlight questions of provenance and ownership, particularly in gendered creative work. Participants were actively encouraged to contribute to the work by adding their own hand embroidery to the pieces.
